HATE TO AUDITION? TURN IT INTO AN EFFECTIVE AND CREATIVE EXPERIENCE
OBIE award winning and internationally acclaimed director John Clancy offers an intensive workshop for actors at all levels of experience interested in acquiring the tools, technique and understanding to audition effectively, creatively and enjoyably, regardless of the audition set-up or situation.
Be on both sides of the table, learn the three simple tasks all actors must perform in the audition process, and through the use of basic Laban movement technique gain the confidence to make strong, clear, fully committed physical choices and adjustments on a dime.

Edinburgh

Over the past five years our productions have won six Scotsman Fringe Firsts, a Scotsman Best of the Firsts and a Herald Angel Award. Artists involved in our productions have been nominated for the Stage Best Actor, Actress and Ensemble Award and won the Stage Best Actor Award and the Jack Tinker Spirit of the Fringe Award. Our experience and success in Edinburgh, coupled with our fifteen year New York producing experience, make Clancy Productions your native guide on both sides of the Atlantic.

For a fixed fee we can provide: a detailed cost estimate for your production, streamlined application processing, a media information packet listing publications and so forth, common-sense Edinburgh Orientation packet designed for the New Yorker abroad.

For a larger fee we can provide, in addition to the above: housing and flight booking, a personalized Media Packet pointing out the journalists and press strategies that would work best for your show, and a Mid-Festival Production Meeting.

New York

We know the New York scene. For a small fixed fee we can provide: a detailed cost estimate for your production, a media information packet listing publications and so forth, a boiler plate publicity and marketing guide, and a common-sense New York theatre guide.

For a larger fee we can provide, in addition to the above: a personalized Media Packet, pointing out the journalists and press strategies that would work best for your show, three one hour production meetings, pre, mid and post-production, a pre-production meeting to focus on logistics and press, a mid-production meeting to focus on audience and industry attendance, and a post-production meeting to focus on next stage of production, if any.
